Our founder, Oscar E. Chytraus, started the Company in 1946 when he signed an agreement to distribute the “Marvel Lift” door manufactured by Crawford Doors. To become a distributor of the Marvel Lift door, we were required to use the name Crawford Doors… hence our name Crawford Door Sales. In 1953 Oscar’s eldest son, Ron Chytraus, joined the family business and his three younger brothers (Howard, Rich and Gary) soon followed. Today, we are the oldest Utah distributor of garage doors and related products. In 1988 the employees of Crawford Door Sales, a division of the Oscar E. Chytraus Company, purchased the assets of the door division, consequently, as of May 16, 1988 Crawford Door Sales has been an employee-owned company. For 65 years we have been servicing and satisfying our valued customers offering only premium overhead doors and operators to discerning home owners, business owners, and general contractors throughout the intermountain area. With a workforce that averages over 18 years experience per employee, we will do the job right… the first time.
